I grew up watching my father run his small business, clients calling for last minute needs on the weekend, working late to get all the work delivered. He worked hard. He cared deeply. He did this because he wanted to ensure his family had the life he didn't.
I became an accountant because I believe that understanding the numbers is critical to business success, not just compliance for taxes. Over 20+ years I worked alongside entrepreneurs, and I kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant founders, real revenue, and yet a gap between the business they'd imagined and the one they were living inside.
The gap isn't effort. It was always the same three things: clarity, systems, and someone to hold them accountable to both.
That's why I became a Certified Systems Business Coach. And that's why Indigo & Root exists: to give founders the financial lens and the coaching structure they need to finally close that gap.
